Malpractice Opportunity

Premium Indication Form
Dear Physician:
I am writing this letter to inform you of an opportunity to manage your professional liability premium. While the state of Illinois struggles to uphold malpractice reform, and thus affordable premiums, long ago a group of Central Illinois physicians successfully addressed this issue, and invites you to join.
The McLean Area Medical Association (MAMA), an Independent Physician Association of 115 physicians, and 20 physician extenders, is entering its eleventh year in a liability program that routinely receives maximum allowable credits, premium reductions, and has recently begun offering a profit sharing program.
We are not an insurance company, nor a brokerage firm. We are an IPA, owned by physicians, for the benefit, and advancement of physician interests. Based in Bloomington, Illinois, MAMA is looking for other Illinois physicians who are committed to providing high quality care, and liability premiums that reflect the same level of care. At MAMA, we strongly believe, and have demonstrated, that there is strength in numbers, and nowhere is that more evident than in our professional liability program.
Our success has been building over the last eleven years, and we have not done it alone. MAMA has partnered with Gallagher Healthcare, and together we have enjoyed premium levels most Illinois markets have not.
We would like you to explore our program by completing the enclosed malpractice fact sheet, and fax it back to our office. That number is (309) 662-5017. We believe physicians should have more control over their liability insurance, and we look forward to working with you to provide the same opportunity we have enjoyed for many years.
Sincerely,
John Hesse
